Mr. Raed Kanaan is a Jordanian banking and strategy executive whose career spans close to 25 years at Al Rajhi Bank in Riyadh. For fifteen of those years he served as Director of Strategic Planning, Budgeting and Business Support for the Corporate Banking Group, leading strategy preparation across the group's corporate products, defining and monitoring the key performance indicators of its units, segments and regions, and owning the annual budget alongside oversight of sales, capital and operating expenditure. He previously served as Group Strategy Manager, and as Manager of the Retail Banking Group, where he led the transformation of the bank's branch network across the Kingdom toward a sales-led model, having begun his career there as a Business Relationship Manager. His experience extends to enterprise programme delivery — including Microsoft Dynamics and CRM, Hyperion budgeting and planning, and management information and reporting platforms — as well as quarterly market analysis and product profitability reporting. As Group CEO of Tawafiq United Investment, he brings institutional discipline in planning, budgeting and performance management to the group's platforms and portfolio companies.
